The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has officially released the results for the Combined Civil Services Examination-II (Group 2 and 2A Services) Preliminary Exam (Notification No. 11/2025). Out of the 4,20,217 candidates who appeared for the exam on September 28, 2025, a total of 10,583 candidates have been provisionally admitted to the Main Examination.

⚠️ Important Change: Group IIA Mains Exam Mode

According to Press Release No. 178/2025, there is a major change in the examination method for Group IIA:

  • Previous Plan: Paper-II (General Studies, General Intelligence, and Reasoning) was scheduled to be a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
  • New Update: Due to administrative reasons, the Group IIA Mains Paper-II will now be conducted using the OMR Method
