CRPF Constable Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit 2026
Age Limit
- Constable (Driver): 21 to 27 years. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02/01/1999 and later than 01/01/2005.
- Other Trades & Pioneer: 18 to 23 years. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02/01/2003 and later than 01/01/2008.
- Age Relaxation: 5 Years for SC/ST, 3 Years for OBC, and 3 Years for Ex-Servicemen after deduction of military service.
Qualification
- Constable (Driver): Minimum Matriculation or equivalent. Must possess a Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) Driving License and pass the driving test.
- Constable (Motor Mechanic Vehicle): Minimum 10th Class pass with a 2-year ITI certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle and 1-year practical experience.
- Other Tradesmen: Minimum Matriculation (10th Pass). Must be proficient and have worked in their respective trades.
- Pioneer Wing (Mason, Plumber, Electrician): Matriculation with 1-year experience in the respective trade. Preference is given to ITI certificate holders.
