The NTA strictly mandates that the entry gates lock exactly 30 minutes before the examination begins. For example, if a shift starts at 09:00 AM, gates lock at 08:30 AM sharp, and late entries are barred without exception.

Early Arrival Advice
The recommendation to arrive at least 90 minutes before the exam time is accurate. This buffer is critical to complete the mandatory phases of multi-layered metal detector frisking, physical document checks, and biometric logging without inducing last-minute panic.

Dress Code Guidelines
- White or light-coloured clothing is preferred.
- Normal shoes, slippers, and low heels are recommended.
- Heavy metallic accessories should be avoided.
- Woollen clothes are allowed subject to additional frisking.
- Religious/customary attire is permitted, but candidates should report early for mandatory checking.
- Articles of faith including religious threads such as kalava are allowed.
Exam Day Instructions & Rules
- Carry the same Photo ID uploaded during application submission.
- Different ID proof may not be accepted during verification.
- Candidates whose Aadhaar/live photo does not match must carry an original attested supporting certificate.
- Only transparent water bottle and transparent ball point pen are permitted.
- Verify examination city, centre address, date, and shift carefully before travel.
- Follow invigilator instructions strictly throughout the CBT examination.
- Candidates involved in unfair means may face cancellation of candidature.
Exam Centre Guidance
Candidates should visit the examination centre location in advance if possible to avoid last-minute travel issues. Due to heavy student turnout and security checking, additional travel buffer time is strongly recommended.
International exam centres have also been arranged in 14 cities across 13 countries including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Singapore, Nepal, and USA.
