Eligibility Criteria
IISER Admissions 2026 will be conducted solely through the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026. Candidates who have passed or are appearing in Class XII (or equivalent) with Science subjects can apply for admission to BS-MS, BS, and B.Tech programmes offered by participating IISER campuses. Admission will be based on IAT 2026 rank, category, seat availability, and programme preferences submitted during counselling.

- Be appearing for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination in 2026.
The qualifying examination must be from a board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), India.

- B.Tech Programmes at IISER Bhopal

Foreign National Candidates
Foreign National applicants must upload an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), unless they have passed or are appearing in Class XII (Science Stream) from a COBSE-recognized board in India. The certificate must be uploaded during the online application process and produced in original whenever required.
