Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Candidates must generally be between 21 and 30 years of age. For candidates possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualifications, the upper age limit is relaxed to 32 and 34 years respectively. Standard age relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC and PwBD candidates as per Government of India rules. (Exact cutoff dates will be confirmed in the detailed notification on April 29).
Qualification
- Officers in Grade 'B' (General): Graduation in any discipline/Equivalent technical or professional qualification with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants).
- Officers in Grade 'B' (DEPR): A Master's Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course / Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Officers in Grade 'B' (DSIM): A Master's Degree in Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Mathematical Economics / Econometrics / Statistics & Informatics, with a minimum of 55% marks.

Phase-I (Prelims), Phase-II (Mains), and Personal Interview.
