What is the closing date for registration of Application for CEN No.06/2024 ?

Ans. – The closing date for registration of application is 20-10-2024 (23:59 hours).
What are the dates for modification of application ?

Ans. – Modification window will open only after closing date for submission of application and will be active from 23.10.2024 to 01.11.2024. If candidates wish to modify, change or correct any details except details filled in the ‘Create an Account’ form (including email id and mobile number) and chosen RRB, they may do so by paying a modification fee of Rs.250/- (non-refundable) for each occasion. (Please Note: Details filled in ‘Create an Account’ form and ‘Chosen RRB’ cannot be modified).
My final results are expected after 20 of Oct 2024. Can I apply ?

Ans. – No, Candidates waiting for final results of prescribed educational/technical qualifications are not eligible to apply. Candidates should possess prescribed educational/technical qualifications on or before the closing date for submission of application for this CEN.
Can I edit the ‘Create an Account’ details ?

Ans. – Candidates CANNOT edit any details of the ‘Create an account’ once the account is created. However in case of genuine reason candidates may send request email to rrb.help@csc.gov.in with necessary documents and the case will be examined and suitable decision taken. In such case, the necessary modification will be done at back end and candidates informed on registered email.
Can I apply to different RRBs for different pay levels ?

Ans. – No. Candidates are allowed to apply for one RRB only.
Can I apply to more than one RRB ?

Ans. – No, you should not. Applying to more than one RRB will result in the rejection of all applications and will lead to debarment from all future examinations of RRB and RRC.
Can I change my ‘Chosen RRB’?

Ans. – No, you cannot change the ‘chosen RRB’ after submission of application.
Will there be negative marking ?

Ans. – There will be negative marking @1/3rd mark for every wrong answer in CBT.

What is the closing date for registration of Application for CEN No.05/2024?

Ans. – The closing date for registration of application is 20-10-2024 (23:29 hours).
What are the dates for modification of application ?

Ans. – Modification window will open only after closing date for submission of application and will be active from 23.10.2024 to 30.10.2024. If candidates wish to modify, change or correct any details except details filled in the ‘Create an Account’ form (including email id and mobile number) and chosen RRB, they may do so by paying a modification fee of Rs.250/- (non-refundable) for each occasion. (Please Note: Details filled in ‘Create an Account’ form and ‘Chosen RRB’ cannot be modified).
My final results are expected after 20 of Oct 2024. Can I apply ?

Ans. – No, Candidates waiting for final results of prescribed educational/technical qualifications are not eligible to apply. Candidates should possess prescribed educational/technical qualifications on or before the closing date for submission of application for this CEN.
Can I edit the ‘Create an Account’ details ?

Ans. – Candidates CANNOT edit any details of the ‘Create an account’ once the account is created. However in case of genuine reason candidates may send request email to rrb.help@csc.gov.in with necessary documents and the case will be examined and suitable decision taken. In such case, the necessary modification will be done at back end and candidates informed on registered email.
Can I apply to different RRBs for different pay levels ?

Ans. – No. Candidates are allowed to apply for one RRB only.
Can I apply to more than one RRB ?

Ans. – No, you should not. Applying to more than one RRB will result in the rejection of all applications and will lead to debarment from all future examinations of RRB and RRC.
Can I change my ‘Chosen RRB’?

Ans. – No, you cannot change the ‘chosen RRB’ after submission of application.
Will there be negative marking ?

Ans. – There will be negative marking @1/3rd mark for every wrong answer in CBT.

Eligible applicants would be required to register and apply online through the new website https://ssc.gov.in/ and submit the application. One-Time Registration (OTR): All the candidates who wish to apply in response to this Notice and have not generated their One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new website (https://ssc.gov.in) will be required to do so as the earlier OTR generated on the old website (https://ssc.nic.in) will not be functional for the new website. Subsequent to OTR, the candidates can proceed to fill the application for the examination. Once an OTR has been generated on the new website, it will continue to remain valid for all the examinations to be applied for on the new website. Photograph: For applying, the candidate is not required to have a pre-existing photograph of himself / herself. The application module has been designed to capture a photograph of the candidate filling up the application form. For this purpose, the candidate has to stand / sit before the camera when prompted by the application module and follow the following instructions while capturing the photograph: (i) Find a place with good light and plain background. (ii) Ensure the camera is at eye level before taking the photo. (iii) Position himself directly in front of the camera and look straight ahead. Physical Criteria	Details
Height	(i) For Male candidates: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cm. (ii) For Female candidates: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cm. (iii) For candidates belonging to North-East or hilly regions of Uttarakhand, a lower minimum height of 147 cm will be accepted. In the case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum height will be 150 cm. Note: Candidates availing height relaxation for being domicile of North East/Hilly Regions of Uttarakhand/Lakshadweep are to submit a Domicile certificate with endorsement of domicile status at the time of Phase-II testing. Further, candidates from hilly regions of Uttarakhand must have a specific endorsement of the hilly regions in their domicile certificate.
Weight	Proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF
Chest	Minimum chest circumference should be 77 cm and the chest expansion should be at least 05 cm.
Hearing	Should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.
Dental	Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth and a minimum of 14 dental points.

Phase – I	Online Test (Objective type Questions): (a) Science Subjects. The total duration of the online test shall be 60 minutes and shall comprise of Physics, Mathematics and English as per the 10+2 CBSE syllabus. (b) Other than Science Subjects. The total duration of the online test shall be 45 minutes and shall comprise English as per the 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA). (c) Science Subjects & Other than Science Subjects. The total duration of the online test shall be 85 minutes and shall comprise Physics, Mathematics and English as per the 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA). (d) Marking pattern for online test: – (i) One mark for every correct answer. (ii) Nil (0) marks for unattempted questions. (iii) 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
Phase – II	Physical Fitness Test (PFT) + Documentation + Adaptability Test: Candidates who pass the online test will have to undertake a Physical Fitness Test (PFT), followed by a documentation and adaptability assessment.
Phase – III	Medical Examination: The last step of the selection process includes a thorough medical check-up to assess the overall health and fitness of the candidates.
