Stipend and Employment Status
The apprenticeship period is 12 months. The monthly stipend is ₹16,650, comprising ₹10,500 paid by Canara Bank and a Government share of ₹6,150 credited through DBT under extant guidelines. Apprentices are not Bank employees, do not receive regular employee benefits, and are not assured a permanent position after training.
