TNUSRB PC Selection Process 2026

The selection process is multi-staged. Let’s look at the importance of each stage:

  1. Tamil Language Eligibility Test: This is a qualifying test only. The marks obtained here will not be added to the final selection total.
  2. Main Written Examination: This is the most critical stage. The 70 marks scored here are essential to qualify for the physical rounds.
  3. Certificate Verification (CV): Your original documents and certificates will be verified.
  4. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Measurement of height and chest. This is a qualifying test.
  5. Endurance Test: (E.g., Running). This is also a qualifying test.
  6. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): This carries 24 marks, which will be added to your final selection score.
  7. Special Marks: An additional 6 marks are awarded for NCC, NSS, and Sports certificates.
