The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official public notice for the UGC-NET June 2026 examination. The test determines the eligibility of Indian nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and appointment as Assistant Professor, appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D., and admission to Ph.D. only in Indian universities and colleges. The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode covering 87 subjects. Eligible candidates can submit their online applications between 29 April 2026 and 20 May 2026.

    Applications are only accepted via "Online" mode; any other mode will be rejected.

    Ensure you provide your own or your Parent/Guardian's accessible email address and mobile number, as all communications from NTA will be sent via email or SMS.

    Fill in your particulars carefully. No changes will be allowed after the final submission of the Application Form.

    Complete the fee payment through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI before the deadline.
