What is AP TET Paper 2B?

Paper 2B is the Special Education AP TET route for Classes VI-VIII. Its most distinctive component is the 60-mark Category of Disability Specialisation and Pedagogy section.

Paper 2A vs Paper 2B

Paper 2A allocates its final 60 marks to a regular subject route. Paper 2B instead allocates 60 marks to Disability Specialisation and Pedagogy.

Child Development and Pedagogy - Special Education

• Growth and development, human-development theories, individual differences, learning processes, sensation, attention, perception, motivation and intelligence.
• CwSN characteristics and needs, curriculum development, adaptations, accommodations, inclusion, IEP, teaching strategies, evaluation and vocational education.
• Education commissions and policies, constitutional provisions, disability legislation and inclusive-education programmes.
• ICT, educational technology, computer applications, e-learning, Web 2.0, OER, MOOCs and DIKSHA.

Language I - 30 marks

Language I may be Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Odia or Sanskrit. Candidates must use the language-specific section in the complete official PDF.

English - 30 marks

English covers vocabulary, grammar, writing conventions, discourses, dictionary skills and reading comprehension.

Multiple Disabilities

• Identification and functional assessment, communication, curriculum, intervention, UDL, assistive technology, orientation and mobility, family support and community resources.

Visual Impairment

• Eye anatomy, identification and assessment, functional academics, independent living, curriculum adaptation, low-vision teaching, accessible print, assistive technology and rehabilitation.
